Stepping away from the traditional supermarkets to get even bigger savings in an excellent idea. Thanks for pointing that out Joseph.

Why would you bother, purchase your meat from a local butcher, and fresh fruit and vegie from the local fruit shop, you will save up to $40 a week anyway. Example, Local butcher, Pork Loin Chops $6.99 a kg, Woolworths, $15.99 a kg. Tomatos Fruit shop $5.00 a kg, Woolworths $8.00 a kg. People really need to start looking around if you want to save, and experience better tasting food. I can leave fruit shop tomatoes on the table for a week, try that with woolworths produce, throwing away food is not saving.
